In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure our clients experience optimal comfort and system efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about field service work, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer satisfaction through technical excellence and proactive problem-solving. Duties Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems and property maintenance tasks to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Utilize specialized tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for repairs when necessary. Troubleshoot complex systems involving ammonia refrigeration or HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) components to identify root causes. Repair appliances and mechanical equipment by applying proper techniques in plumbing, welding, or equipment repair. Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document all work performed for quality assurance and future reference. Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC service technician or in a related field such as mechanical or property maintenance. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical schematics. Hands-on experience with HVAC design principles and equipment repair procedures. Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in boiler operation and ammonia refrigeration systems. Ability to operate a driver vehicle safely and efficiently. Skilled in using diagnostic tools including ohmmeters and field service equipment. Welding skills and experience with appliance repair are highly desirable. Construction background or mechanic experience is beneficial for understanding complex system installations. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL license is a plus.
