Job Description

Overview $40.23/HR + Benefits Kings Island is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our Facilities Maintenance team. The HVAC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and industrial HVAC systems throughout the park to ensure a safe, comfortable, and operational environment for guests and associates. Qualified candidates will be referred to and must be eligible for membership in Local 392. Responsibilities Install, inspect, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical systems Diagnose system issues and perform corrective repairs in a timely manner Perform preventative maintenance in accordance with established schedules and safety standards Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Monitor and maintain building automation and control systems Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, codes, and environmental standards Accurately document work performed, materials used, and system conditions Collaborate with other maintenance trades and operations teams to support park operations Qualifications Journeyman-level HVAC experience in commercial or industrial environments preferred Minimum of five (5) years of HVAC service experience required Refrigeration experience strongly preferred EPA Universal Certification required Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical controls, and mechanical components Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair complex HVAC systems Valid driver's license required Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions Must meet eligibility requirements for membership in Local 392 Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as required to support park operations
