Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Residential HVAC Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential settings. Your expertise will ensure our customers enjoy comfortable, energy-efficient environments while adhering to safety standards and industry best practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and technical skills in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. Duties Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, Water Heaters, and ventilation equipment according to schematics and HVAC design plans Perform system diagnostics using electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot issues related to mechanical systems repair Conduct plumbing and electrical work necessary for HVAC installation and maintenance, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety standards Interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately assemble and install complex HVAC systems Service existing HVAC units by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades to optimize performance Operate specialized equipment such as welding tools, refrigeration units, and building automation systems to enhance system functionality Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including service reports, installation logs, and inspection records Skills Proven construction experience with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and building infrastructure Service technician experience in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning), Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams effectively Knowledge of HVAC design principles and system components including refrigeration cycles and ammonia refrigeration systems Skilled in plumbing, electrical diagnostics, equipment repair, and mechanical systems troubleshooting Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS) for controlling HVAC functions efficiently Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; experience with appliance repair and property maintenance is a plus Mechanical knowledge related to boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, welding techniques, and general maintenance tasks Experience operating field service equipment such as ohmmeters or other diagnostic tools; valid driver's license required for travel between job sites Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions Join us in delivering top-tier residential HVAC solutions!
