Gas Fireplace Technician (HVAC / Plumbing Experience Welcome)

FireplaceMike.com Fireplace Mike is a growing, family-run company based in Portage Lakes and serving the greater Akron-Canton area. We're hiring an experienced technician to help install, service, and repair gas fireplaces. If you've worked in HVAC, plumbing, or a similar trade and want a flexible, well-paying opportunity, this could be a great fit.

Pay:

$24.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience and education

Schedule:

Monday to Friday No nights or weekends (unless requested) Flexible hours Full-time, part-time, or 1099 contract positions available

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair gas fireplaces Complete daily appointments within a local territory Deliver excellent customer service Maintain a clean and professional work environment Load and unload tools and supplies daily work load will shift as needed in simlar field such as grills and fire pits

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in gas fireplaces, HVAC, or plumbing Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license Willingness to use a company van or personal vehicle (compensated with branding) NFI certification is a plus (bonus available if already certified or earned within 6 months)

Typical Day:

AM:

Check schedule and load service van Service 5-8 customers during the day 4:00

PM:

Return, clean out the van, and finish the day How to
