HVAC Service Technician

HVAC Service Technician Sal's Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Sewer, Inc. has an immediate need of experienced HVAC Technicians to join our team. We are looking for responsible, professional and trustworthy technicians with good customer service and related skills to safely install, maintain, or repair HVAC applications. Responsible for maintaining the quality of work up to company standards, as well as Local, State and International codes following established company policies based on the structure of the company. Primarily work for Residential and Commercial Accounts with use of our company vehicle.

Position Overview:

Safely install, maintain, or repair HVAC applications specific to a clients' requirement, keeping client informed at all times and verifying their satisfaction when finished. Responsible for maintaining the quality of work up to company standards, as well as Local, State and International codes. Residential and Commercial Accounts.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

:

• Understanding of HVAC systems, Tankless Water Heaters, Boilers, Standard Water Heaters and a strong mechanical aptitude
• Must be proficient in piping work, brazing, and threading
• Performs troubleshooting and start-ups of HVAC systems
• Responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience
• Clean and professional appearance in company uniform at all times
• Technical school certification or equivalent combination of education and experience
• EPA certification strongly recommended (NATE certification is a plus)
• Respond and accurately complete Service Titan work order requests in a timely fashion per schedule
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Must have hand tools to perform the job
• Work well with crew members or alone with a positive attitude
• Reliability and accountability with great attendance
• Must have Valid Drivers License with a good record
• To be able to lift up to 75 pounds and push, pull, or carry heavy objects
• To be able to climb ladders and work in small crawl spaces
• Excellent customer service and communication skills that translate over the phone and in the field
• Eagerness to work extended and flexible hours as needed to support the business
• Other duties as assigned

Full-time Pay:

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
