Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced refrigeration/HVAC technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration and HVAC systems in various settings. The technician will be responsible for performing routine inspections, identifying problems, troubleshooting, and repairing refrigeration and HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Must have Journeymen's license.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems in various settings Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot problems with refrigeration and HVAC systems Replace faulty components and ensure that refrigeration and HVAC systems are functioning efficiently and effectively Maintain and repair refrigeration units, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and motors Test and calibrate refrigeration and HVAC systems to ensure proper performance Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget Adhere to safety procedures and regulations at all times Keep up-to-date with industry developments and new technology
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent Post-secondary education in HVAC or a related field is preferred Journeyman's license Strong understanding of refrigeration and HVAC principles and systems Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and ability to work independently Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in adverse weather conditions Ability to work flexible hours and be available for emergency repairs as needed If you meet the above requirements and are interested in this opportunity, please submit your resume and cover letter for consideration.
