Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and system reliability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and field service experience in a fast-paced environment dedicated to property maintenance and comfort solutions. Responsibilities Install, service, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Conduct routine inspections of HVAC equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate. Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as pipe repairs, fittings, and drainage troubleshooting. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for system repairs when necessary. Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. Assist with property maintenance tasks related to mechanical systems and appliance repair as needed. Operate a driver vehicle safely for field service calls across multiple locations. Support ongoing HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) projects including system upgrades or modifications. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC system installation and repair. Proven service technician experience in construction or property maintenance environments. Ability to read schematics and interpret HVAC design plans accurately. Knowledge of plumbing, refrigeration systems, boiler operation, and appliance repair techniques. Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters and experience with equipment repair including welding. Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. Excellent field service skills with the ability to troubleshoot effectively on-site under pressure. Ability to operate heavy machinery safely in compliance with safety standards. Mechanical aptitude combined with strong problem-solving skills to diagnose issues quickly and efficiently.
