The Install Helper will assist with the installation of HVAC equipment into residential customers' homes. This includes equipment such as furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers and other related components.

Day Essential Job Functions:

Assist with the installation of HVAC equipment into residential customer homes Assist with troubleshooting equipment throughout the installation process, upon start-up, and during operation Assist with installation of flex and sheet metal duct systems in residential homes Ensure that thermostats are operational and connected to the equipment correctly Load all necessary materials and equipment required for each job into company vehicle Follow all safety and training protocols per company policies Participate and attend all required employee meetings and trainings

Required License and Experience:

Valid driver's license and ability to meet company insurability requirements

Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time Must have excellent organizational skills Must have good oral and written communications skills Must observe all company procedures and safety protocols Must have a good attitude Must be a team player Must be comfortable working with customers to ensure their satisfaction Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment Must have basic computer skills Must be comfortable using a mobile device throughout the workday Work Environment Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions May be exposed to extreme and uncomfortable temperatures and/or conditions Occasionally exposed to wet, snowy, hot, and humid conditions Subject to dark confined workspaces such as crawl spaces and attics Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration May encounter moderately loud noise level while in the field Physical Demands Moderate to heavy working conditions Must be comfortable with and physically able to safely help lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, stand for long periods of time, bend, crawl and kneel Must be able to lift 100+ pounds at a time Must be comfortable climbing 28+ foot extension ladders Must be comfortable working in small, dark, confined spaces (attics) Supervisory Responsibility None. All questionable matters are referred to Supervisor. Qualifications No experience necessary Must be able to lift 100lbs
