Job Summary:

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an HVAC technician. -- Must be experienced installing newer units; experience with older units is highly preferred.
• EPA 608 Certification.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Skills to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record to drive a company-issued vehicle.

A drug test, background check and driving record check will be performed.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, and air conditioners.
• Perform system inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Install new HVAC systems and components.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding system issues, solutions, and maintenance recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
• Other duties as required.

Hours:

25 or more per week, depending on business needs and the season (25 hours are guaranteed; more hours are likely during summer and winter).

Starting Pay:

$30 per hour. A raise is possible after 45 days, possibly up to $45 per hour.
