Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and system performance. Responsibilities Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, boilers, and refrigeration equipment according to schematics and design plans. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems to ensure optimal operation. Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to accurately execute installations and repairs. Conduct field service work such as diagnosing issues with mechanical components, repairing appliances, and replacing faulty parts using tools like ohmmeters and welding equipment. Assist with plumbing connections related to HVAC systems and ensure compliance with safety standards. Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, and system specifications for future reference. Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving ammonia refrigeration or other specialized systems while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC installation or maintenance roles. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, boiler operation, and property maintenance. Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and technical manuals. Knowledge of refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is a plus. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) or driver certification preferred. Experience in plumbing, appliance repair, or general property maintenance is advantageous. Basic understanding of electrical systems related to HVAC equipment is required. $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
