This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from routine maintenance to complex equipment repairs, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Whether you're troubleshooting HVAC/R systems or performing equipment repairs, your expertise will directly impact the comfort and safety of our clients' facilities. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment using schematics and technical manuals Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings related to HVAC design and property maintenance projects Conduct plumbing repairs and installations as needed to support HVAC systems or property infrastructure Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues and perform mechanical repairs Maintain detailed service records, including inspection reports, repair logs, and maintenance schedules Operate a driver vehicle safely for field service visits across multiple sites Assist with ammonia refrigeration systems and other specialized HVAC/R applications following safety protocols Support property maintenance tasks by inspecting building systems for efficiency and safety compliance Collaborate with team members on large-scale construction or installation projects involving HVAC components Skills Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, or mechanical systems Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design documents accurately Mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R equipment including boilers, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and appliances Field service experience with appliance repair, property maintenance, or equipment troubleshooting Skilled in welding, equipment repair, and the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems and HVAC/R safety standards Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently under pressure Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members effectively Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for operating driver vehicles safely This role offers an engaging environment where your technical expertise makes a tangible difference.
