HVAC Residential Service Technician A Shipley Energy - 3.7 Adamstown, PA Job Details Full-time 4 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance Tuition reimbursement Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Gym membership Qualifications Post-sales product instruction Refrigeration system troubleshooting Serving clients Schematics Air conditioning unit repair English Driver's License Following blueprint specifications Individual consumer customer service Hand tools Full Job Description Requirements Technical school certification or equivalent experience Proven success at the diagnosis and repair of complex problems on HVAC residential systems without daily supervision Complete understanding of refrigerant cycle Proficient at reading and understanding residential schematics Able to be on the on call schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays Proven success at educating customers on products and services offered by the company including replacement systems and maintenance agreements Able to read, write, and speak English Demonstrated ability to complete paperwork properly and according to procedure Valid drivers license Able to lift, pull, and/or push 75 pounds Able to climb ladders and work off scaffolding Able to sit, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for extended periods of time Furnish own hand tools Committed to the values of initiative, responsibility, caring relationships, integrity and innovation Able to complete a pre-employment physical test Responsibilities Diagnose and repair residential oil and gas heating equipment, air conditioning units, and heat pump units Complete residential preventative maintenance on heating and cooling equipment Train other technicians Provide all customers with consistent, quality service in accordance with company procedure Positively promote the companys products and services, developing equipment leads and selling service contracts Assist other team members to achieve maximum success, safety, and efficiency Maintain required truck inventory as audited Maintain a neat appearance in proper, clean uniform at all times Perform regular vehicle maintenance checks and maintain a clean vehicle at all times Perform all duties in a safe manner ensuring incident-free operations Able to operate Astea handheld device Report any incident or accident as soon as possible to the Residential Service Operations Manager/Home Services Project Manager Our team members enjoy: Comprehensive health benefits - Medical, dental, and vision insurance Generous 401(k) company match Voluntary benefits, including supplemental life, critical illness, accident, and hospital insurance Up to 20 days of PTO each year Paid Holidays Gym reimbursement up to $30/month Tuition Reimbursement $700 Tool Reimbursement The stability of a long-standing, values driven company that invests in your growth
