Job Description
The Maintenance Technician shall be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs of the boilers, cooling towers, chillers, plumbing, exhaust fans, roof top units, air handlers,and other associated equipment and related distribution systems. All installations and corrective maintenance shall be properly documented. All utility system failures shall be documented and reported to the Director of Facilities/Project Manager. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: Facility updates and repairs HVAC Experience Boiler/Chiller Experience Lawncare and landscaping needs Snow removal and winter maintenance for exterior of facility Paint, remodel, refurbish areas as needed Repair, maintain/monitor all equipment and amenities Change light bulbs, interior and exterior, as needed Provide security support to facility and employees On call maintenance 24/7 Performs other work related duties as assigned This description is intended to indicate the kinds of tasks and levels of work difficulty that will be required of positions that will be given this title and shall not be construed as declaring what the specific duties and responsibilities of any particular position shall be. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES MINIMUM EDUCATION
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and or technical school training in HVAC, plumbing and electricalEXPERIENCE
Desirable characteristics include at least one year of experience.NUST HAVE HVAC
experienceCONTACT WITH OTHERS
Must be able to follow directions and perform work independently according to department and industry standards. Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively and appropriately under stressful and emergent situations.COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Proficient verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.Licenses/Certificates:
Electrical, HVAC/CFC, Boiler, or other technical license/certifications are desirable.Job Type:
