Job Summary:
As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, performing preventative maintenance, and installing HVAC equipment in residential and light commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the HVAC field, with a proven track record in heating and cooling systems. This role requires expertise and in-depth knowledge of local HVAC codes.
Key Responsibilities:
Service, maintain, and install residential and light commercial HVAC equipment (heating, cooling, and ventilation systems). Perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshoot HVAC issues. Ensure all work complies with local HVAC codes and regulations. Review blueprints, diagrams, and system layouts to ensure proper installation and functionality. Demonstrate technical proficiency in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems. Provide clear and concise communication with clients about HVAC systems and services. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and improve overall performance. Follow up with clients as needed to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues. Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of HVAC experience EPA Certified Proven track record in heating and cooling systems, with the ability to read blueprints, draw diagrams, and interpret technical schematics. Clean, safe driving record. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High integrity, advanced social skills, and the ability to build solid client relationships. Willingness to learn, grow, and develop into a better technician. Team player with a collaborative attitude.
