Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable HVAC Helper to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. You will work closely with senior technicians to ensure HVAC systems are running efficiently and in compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Your duties will include performing routine inspections, troubleshooting system issues, and handling refrigerants, including Freon, safely. Looking for a candidate that has experience performing both commercial and residential work in the Albrightsville, Lehighton, Scranton, Hazelton areas.
FULL TIME EVALUATION HIRE - MONDAY-FRIDAY 9AM-5PM
Candidates will need a car to get to the office and then will travel in the company van to job sites.
JOB DUTIES
Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. weekends as needed Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot HVAC systems to identify and address issues. Handle and manage Freon and other refrigerants in compliance with environmental safety standards. Assist senior technicians in diagnosing and repairing refrigeration units, air conditioning systems, and heating systems. Ensure all HVAC systems are functioning efficiently and effectively. Follow safety protocols and regulations during installations and repairs. Assist with the preparation of work sites and installation of HVAC equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer questions or concerns as needed. Stay current on HVAC industry trends, codes, and regulations.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with HVAC systems.
Certification:
Refrigeration License required for handling Freon. Basic knowledge of electrical systems related to HVAC units. Ability to read and interpret technical documents
Pay:
$17.00 per hour
