Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Helper, where you will play a vital role in supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems across residential, commercial, and industrial properties. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity to develop mechanical skills, gain hands-on experience with HVAC equipment, and work alongside experienced service technicians. Your energy and enthusiasm will contribute to ensuring optimal indoor climate comfort for our clients while expanding your expertise in the field of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration). Paid training and mentorship are provided to help you succeed and grow professionally. Duties Assist licensed HVAC technicians with installation, repair, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. Support the setup and operation of schematics and technical diagrams to understand system layouts. Help troubleshoot issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment. Carry out basic plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems, including pipe fitting and refrigerant line connections. Aid in equipment repair tasks such as replacing filters, belts, motors, or valves under supervision. Participate in field service activities including property maintenance, appliance repairs, and system inspections. Support safety procedures during all operations and ensure compliance with industry standards for HVAC/R work. Experience Prior experience or training in construction or property maintenance is highly desirable. Service technician experience working with HVAC systems or appliance repair is a plus. Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, refrigeration systems (including ammonia refrigeration), and mechanical knowledge is advantageous. Experience operating diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters or welding equipment will set you apart. Mechanical or mechanic experience involving boiler systems or equipment repair is beneficial. Valid driver's license with a clean record is required; experience driving trucks or similar vehicles is preferred. Knowledge of field service procedures and basic understanding of HVAC/R regulations will support your success in this role.
