This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, troubleshoot complex equipment, and ensure optimal climate control across various properties. As an HVAC Technician, you will play a vital role in enhancing comfort, safety, and efficiency for our clients by applying your technical expertise and proactive problem-solving skills. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems. technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) equipment to ensure optimal operation. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems such as drainage or water supply connections. Utilize tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for repairs when necessary. Diagnose mechanical problems using specialized tools and mechanical knowledge; repair or replace faulty components efficiently. Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document all work performed for accountability and future reference. Operate a driver vehicle safely while transporting tools or equipment to job sites. Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems or general building upkeep as needed. Support field service operations by providing timely on-site solutions for appliance repair or system failures. Requirements Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician with a strong background in construction or property maintenance environments. Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair including boilers, appliances, welding techniques, and mechanical components. Familiarity with plumbing systems related to HVAC setups and the ability to read technical diagrams accurately. Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units and ammonia refrigeration technology. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively for electrical troubleshooting. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating a driver vehicle preferred. Strong field service skills with the ability to perform appliance repair efficiently under pressure. Certification or experience in welding is a plus; knowledge of boiler systems is advantageous. Excellent mechanical aptitude combined with proactive problem-solving skills to deliver prompt solutions on-site.
