Full Job Description Job Overview Now Hiring:
Full-Time HVAC Service Technician We are a well established mechanical contractor with a primary focus on HVAC service and installation, along with select plumbing and electrical work. We are looking for a dependable, skilled Service Technician to join our team full- time.
Position Requirements :
Minimum 2+ years of hands-on HVAC experience Additional plumbing & electrical experience preferred EPA 608 Certification Valid Pennsylvania driver's license Ability to lift 50 lbs Ability to participate in on-call rotation within our service area Physical stamina to perform tasks in various environments and weather conditions Strong diagnostic and customer service skills Drug free

Duties:
Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems such as drainage and water supply connections. Troubleshoot electrical components using tools like ohmmeters to identify faults in wiring or control systems. Repair appliances and mechanical components involved in property maintenance, ensuring safety standards are met. Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs for all work performed; communicate effectively with clients about system status and recommendations. Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration), with a strong mechanical background. Knowledge of construction practices related to HVAC installation and property maintenance. Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and HVAC design documents accurately. Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems. Familiarity with plumbing systems, boiler operation, basic electricity. Mechanical knowledge of HVAC components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, fans, and ductwork. Field service experience working on air conditioning units and other climate control systems in various environments. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Proficiency with testing tools like ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment. Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities for customer interactions.
Pay:
$28.00 - $34.00 per hour
