Field-based:
Work is conducted on-site at customer locations. Service Controls HVAC Technician A Service Controls HVAC Technician installs, commissions, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains HVAC control systems such as BAS/DDC platforms , controllers, sensors, actuators, and related networked devices. This role helps ensure building systems operate safely, efficiently, and according to customer requirements. Responsibilities Service, document and maintain HVAC control systems and field devices Customer relation building and relationship management Daily paperwork management and execution Interacting with Sales and Customers for seamless communication Commission BAS/DDC systems for proper operation Troubleshoot controls, communication networks, sensors, and controllers Diagnose HVAC system performance issues and make repairs or adjustments Training customers on BAS systems Program, calibrate, and test control sequences Perform preventive maintenance on controls equipment Document service work, findings, and recommended actions Support customers on system use, alarms, and performance concerns Coordinate with service teams, electricians, and project staff Follow safety procedures and company/service standards Qualifications Technical training or experience in HVAC, controls, electronics, or electrical systems Experience with building automation systems (BAS) or direct digital controls (DDC) Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and control drawings Knowledge of HVAC equipment operation and troubleshooting Familiarity with low-voltage controls, controllers, sensors, relays, and networks Strong problem-solving and customer service skills Valid driver's license may be required Ability to work in mechanical rooms, rooftops, and customer facilities Skills Being Requested BAS/DDC troubleshooting Soft Skills for customer and office interactions HVAC controls commissioning Electrical and low-voltage diagnostics Network communication basics Field service documentation Customer-facing communication
