Pittsburgh metro area — western & northern suburbs What You'll Lead & Accomplish Lead Installation Crews — Direct and support commercial HVAC teams on active job sites Coordinate Daily Workflow — Assign tasks, organize crews, and keep projects on schedule Serve as On‑Site Liaison — Communicate with project managers, contractors, and building owners Interpret Blueprints — Plan installation sequences and ensure accurate system layout Install & Commission Systems — RTUs, split systems, chillers, boilers, air handlers, ventilation systems Assemble Ductwork — Sheet metal, duct assemblies, and system infrastructure Configure Controls — Thermostats, control wiring, and system integration Ensure Code Compliance — Meet local codes, manufacturer specs, and internal quality standards Troubleshoot in Real Time — Resolve issues quickly to maintain project momentum Verify System Performance — Airflow, refrigerant charge, electrical connections Perform Start‑Ups & Commissioning — Deliver fully operational systems before turnover Enforce Safety & OSHA Standards — Maintain a safe, compliant job site Maintain Documentation — Reports, logs, commissioning records Represent Company Values — Reliability, craftsmanship, and service excellence What You Bring to the Table 7-10+ years commercial HVAC installation experience Proven leadership in Senior or lead installer roles Deep knowledge of commercial systems: RTUs, splits, chillers, boilers, AHUs, ventilation Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings Hands‑on ductwork and sheet metal experience HVAC controls installation proficiency EPA 608 Certification (Universal preferred) Valid driver's license & clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work safely at heights Strong troubleshooting and commissioning skills Commitment to OSHA safety standards Professional communication with customers and contractors Preferred Skills & Added Strengths Experience coordinating full commercial HVAC projects Background in construction‑heavy commercial environments Duct layout and fabrication experience Strong organizational and multi‑tasking abilities Familiarity with installation documentation and logs Commitment to ongoing training and HVAC technology updates Comfort working in mechanical rooms, rooftops, and active construction sites Ability to embody company values and lead by example Why This Role Stands Out Join a highly reputable, award‑winning HVAC contractor with a strong presence in the Pittsburgh region.
