Job Description

Compensation:
$23.00 - $24.00 / per hour Full-time | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Participates in an on-call rotation High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical school certification in HVAC or a related field is preferred. Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with a minimum of two (2) years of driving experience and the ability to safely operate a car, van, truck, or tractor in a variety of weather conditions. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in commercial and/or residential HVAC installation, maintenance, repair, or construction required. Works as a collaborative and supportive member of the Facilities team. Assists other maintenance team members with basic plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance tasks as needed. Prioritizes assignments, remains flexible, and performs work efficiently with minimal supervision. Performs preventive maintenance and routine service on HVAC and refrigeration systems throughout all Tandem Living campuses. Services and maintains ice machines, building control systems, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, ductwork, and related HVAC equipment. Completes hands-on maintenance tasks including changing filters, replacing motors and belts, cleaning coils, and lubricating equipment. Completes all scheduled preventive maintenance in a timely and thorough manner. Performs or coordinates repairs as needed, maintains accurate maintenance records within the maintenance tracking system, and recommends equipment repairs, upgrades, or replacements. Assists with developing repair estimates when requested. Purchases materials and supplies in accordance with company purchasing policies and coordinates material availability to ensure the timely completion of maintenance work. Maintains clean, organized, and safe personal and shared work areas, including mechanical equipment rooms. Keeps departmental vehicles stocked with necessary parts and free of clutter. Maintains assigned tools in good working condition and promptly reports lost or damaged tools for repair or replacement.
