Job Description

Position Title:
HVAC Tech (Alternate shifts)

Months Work Arrangement:
Onsite Work Schedule:
Alternating shifts (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM and 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM) every two to four weeks.
Position Summary:
Serve as the primary technician for site HVAC equipment (air handlers, chillers, exhaust fans, etc.). Perform and document daily rounds in compliance with GDP and GMP.
Background & Context:
Support critical site operations at The Organization's Philadelphia facility through reliable HVAC system performance in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary technician for site HVAC equipment (air handlers, chillers, exhaust fans, etc.). Perform and document daily rounds in compliance with GDP and GMP.
  • Monitor EMS and BMS for system functions and alarms. Assess potential impacts and communicate operational issues to the facilities team.
  • Manage emergent work independently or with utility specialists. Utilize CMMS, daily rounds, and alarm monitoring to scope and complete work.
  • Execute maintenance tasks on HVAC systems, including chillers and air handlers.
  • Employ condition-based maintenance techniques as directed to optimize system performance.
  • Act as a lead to oversee outside service providers during significant maintenance tasks and shutdowns as needed.
Qualification & Experience:
  • 3 to 5 years experience
Minimum Education:
Trade school or equivalent military service
