Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in HVAC/R systems. This role involves installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties. Duties Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems according to schematics and technical specifications. Troubleshoot issues with heating and cooling systems using diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter. Perform routine maintenance checks on HVAC equipment to ensure proper functionality. Conduct appliance repairs as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related concerns in a timely manner. Utilize mechanical knowledge to identify and resolve system malfunctions effectively. Weld or plumb as necessary for system installations or repairs. Document service calls and maintain accurate records of work performed. Requirements Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role. Strong understanding of HVAC/R systems and principles. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs on various appliances. Familiarity with tools used for service technician tasks, including diagnostic equipment. Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver's license may be required depending on job location.
