Job Description Summary We are seeking a reliable Commercial Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial equipment and systems. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in the field. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnostics, emergency repairs, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. A Commercial Service Technician installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment or systems used in commercial buildings and facilities. Typical Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or system issues Perform preventive maintenance inspections Repair or replace faulty components and equipment Install new commercial equipment and systems Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Test systems to ensure proper operation and safety compliance Respond to emergency service calls Maintain accurate service records and reports Communicate with customers and explain repair recommendations Follow OSHA and company safety procedures Order and manage tools, parts, and supplies Required Skills Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting Knowledge of hand and power tools Customer service and communication Time management and organization Ability to work independently Basic computer or mobile app reporting skills Qualifications High school diploma or GED Technical/trade school certification preferred EPA certification (for HVAC/refrigeration roles) Valid driver's license Three years of experience with commercial systems or maintenance is preferred Physical Requirements Lift heavy equipment or tools Climb ladders and work in confined spaces Stand, kneel, or crouch for extended periods Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Pay:

$30.00 - $45.00 per hour
