DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
The ideal candidate will provide technical and leadership support for Central Maintenance technicians for proactive work implementation and policy integration to meet the business goals of ArcelorMittal.The Basics:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience: Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
- 10 Years' experience in HVAC Maintenance.
The Extras:
- Knowledge of SAP
- Knowledge of HVAC systems. (Carrier, Trane, Nordic, Lintern, Rittal, & ETC.)
- Experience or design cooling and heating systems.
TRAITS TO BE SUCCESSFUL
type="disc- -Maintain ArcelorMittal Calvert HVAC work back log.
- Responsible for initial screening of incoming work orders, identification of scope and analysis of required level of planning.
- Conducts field walk downs to identify and document job requirements.
- Identifies specific safety hazards that will be encountered in the performance of the proposed work.
- Makes safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out procedures, available to Team Members. Ensure that all aspects of the existing company safety policy are incorporated into the job plan.
- Plans jobs with appropriate level of detail for the Team
- Review and optimize planned work.
- HVAC subject matter expert for ArcelorMittal Calvert
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Utilize SAP for all aspects of maintenance.
- Review MCMP'd work, TECO work orders, follow up on incomplete work, reschedule, check time charged & any follow-up work needed, verify service reports are attached.
- Creating/updating maintenance plans for HVAC, setting PM schedules for new equipment.
- Set the priority of all HVAC repair work.
- Manage the Trane Tracer system for Admin HVAC
- Manage the automated system for
AIDT HVAC
- Manages all corrective actions, attends RCFAs for HVAC
- Maintaining our HVAC Master equipment spreadsheet
- add/change equipment, update model & serial numbers, change full charge determinations when needed
- Keeps track of EPA-related work. Ensuring leak repairs are scheduled within 30 days of discovery and recording
- Determines and arranges for parts required to perform the work

- Office and Industrial setting in Central Maintenance
- Gulf coast region in Calvert, AL
