In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems across residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Your expertise will ensure that heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems operate smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems according to schematics and HVAC design plans Conduct system inspections using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to ensure proper functionality Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings to accurately assemble and install equipment Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems to optimize performance Utilize plumbing skills for refrigerant lines, drainage systems, and other related components during installations or repairs Diagnose mechanical issues with property maintenance equipment or appliances using specialized diagnostic tools Maintain detailed service records, installation logs, and safety documentation in compliance with company standards Operate a driver vehicle safely for transporting equipment or parts to job sites Apply mechanical knowledge in welding or boiler repair tasks as needed during complex installations or repairs Collaborate with team members on field service projects involving ammonia refrigeration or other specialized systems Experience Proven experience as a service technician or installer within the HVAC industry with a strong understanding of HVAC/R systems Hands-on experience with construction projects involving HVAC installation or property maintenance Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals related to HVAC design and mechanical systems Knowledge of refrigeration principles including ammonia refrigeration systems is highly desirable Mechanical experience with appliance repair, boiler maintenance, welding techniques, or general equipment repair is advantageous Demonstrated ability to read electrical schematics and use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating driver vehicles preferred Ability to work in diverse environments requiring physical activity such as lifting heavy equipment or working at heights Join us in delivering top-tier HVAC solutions by applying your technical expertise in a role that challenges you daily!
