- What you will do: Performs complex servicing of installed HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) and Infrastructure including: chillers, boilers, pumps, air compressors, fan coil units, Air Handling units, DX units, condensers, test chambers, refrigerated lab equipment, VAV boxes, valves, coils, cooling towers, piping wiring, control systems, thermostats, building automation systems, pneumatic systems, calibrate flows, ventilators, ventilation hood, flow benches, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, refrigerators, plumbing within unit, electrical from disconnect, other appurtenances and housekeeping in equipment and work areas.
Qualifications You Must Have:
A High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC or completion of technical school/ formal training. Valid EPA 608 universal technician certification.Qualifications We Prefer:
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, shop drawings and manufacturer's technical manuals. Industry experience in building Automation and process controls. Basic understanding of operation of VAV boxes and Belimo valves on a DDC control environment. Strong time management and troubleshooting skills. Willing to assist other trades on building emergencies. Skilled in system replacement / installation and unit star-up.What We Offer:

The hourly range for this role is $28.05 to $47.16. The hourly range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. This position is part of a collective bargaining agreement. Wage and work place conditions, including shift times, are subject to this agreement.
