HVAC Service Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a full-time HVAC Tech to join our Maintenance Team! The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and residential air conditioning systems. Duties Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential settings. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using tools such as an ohmmeter and other diagnostic equipment. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment. Conduct appliance repairs related to heating and cooling systems. Collaborate with Tenants to understand their HVAC needs and provide effective solutions. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all service calls. Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job. Assist with field service tasks including plumbing, welding, and mechanical repairs as needed. Experience Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field service industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair. Familiarity with various HVAC systems including boilers and air conditioning units. Ability to perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations. Other Must have residential experience and feel comfortable driving in the Birmingham Metro Area in all neighborhoods. Must have own vehicle and tools. Company will provide fuel stipend.
