HVAC/Mechanical Project Manager

Project Manager - The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing HVAC mechanical construction projects from start to finish. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Project Manager works closely with field supervisors, project engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and general contractors to coordinate all aspects of project delivery.

Project Management Duties:

Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, scope, and safety standards Monitor current reports to ascertain when to update project operating systems Direct, review, or approve project design changes Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications Prepare budgets Perform cost benefit analysis and source needs for all projects Present and explain proposals, reports, or findings to clients Assess project feasibility by analyzing technology, resource needs, or market demand Develop or implement policies, standards, or procedures for engineering and technical work Perform administrative functions, such as reviewing or writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing company policies, or purchasing of materials or services Able to work closely with Trade Personnel during the execution of projects Plan, direct, or coordinate survey work with other project activities Manage and execute ad-hoc and scheduled status reports for supervisor and upper management Be available to assist during regular business hours or after hours if project needs dictate Confer with Project Engineer to identify and resolve problems Monitor compliance to applicable cost codes, practices, policies, performance standards and specifications Interact daily with Project Engineer to ensure tasks and milestones are being met. Track remainder of tasks in look ahead schedule to forecast estimated HTC Ensure all field shared documentation is up to date Submitting, creating, and gathering all pertinent documentation for projects (RFI's, Change Orders, Progress Billing) Close out all projects. Create Close out package to be sent to customer and/or general contractor, engage our Service Sales Team to position ACS as the preventive maintenance provider

General Project Responsibilities:

Provide information to supervisors and co-workers by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person Work jointly with others to resolve project issues Train others in computer interface or software use Develop guidelines for system implementation Examine data to identify trends or relationships among variables Prepare meticulous reports Participate in staffing selection Develop information communication procedures Coordinate resource procurement activities Update knowledge about emerging industry or technology trends Develop sustainable organizational policies or practices.

JOB REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, a person must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Years of Related Professional Experience:

3+ years of supervision or project management experience required. Preferably in an HVAC.

Educational/Position Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in related field.

Computer/Software/Technical Applications:

Expert computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, BlueBeam/PDF Writer and Google Applications, as well as service ticket tracking systems and hardware Adept at utilizing basic office equipment: phones, computers, printers, fax, postage machine Experience using various manual and internet/web-based ordering platforms Experience with SimPro, GoCanvas, calendaring, and invoicing software a plus

Physical Requirements:

Ability to visit and inspect job sites as needed. Capability to lift and carry materials and equipment up to 40 pounds.

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$125,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
