Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the quality of production (piping, ductwork, and other HVAC/plumbing items) from the company and contract employees assigned to the project and ensure that proper quality procedures are adhered to. Assist team in developing and/or maintaining the site-specific QA/QC manual. Assist project teams in the coordination of the drawing/iso's, equipment hookup details, Tier 1 information boards, quality audits and corrective actions. Participate in meetings as necessary. Assure all relevant quality processes are understood and followed. Assist with ensuring all work on the project jobsite is per project requirements and is done in a workmanlike manner. File and paperwork organization; good documentation practices.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of QA/QC inspection experience, construction experience preferred. Ability to investigate QC functions, piping, ductwork, and other HVAC/plumbing items for craftsmanship, adherence to project drawings, project specifications, and manufacturer guidelines. Some travel required (West, East, and Central North Carolina); able to travel across the state to cover projects in a variety of areas. In-depth understanding of Codes Regulations, and Standards (ability to navigate local, state, and national codes). Willingness to teach and coach others to improve. Microsoft Office Suite proficiency; ability to utilize multiple software platforms. Ability to read and interpret construction documents and contracts; ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Create and track NCRs (non-conformance reports). Communication skills between people of different backgrounds, personalities, and understanding levels. Display a courteous and professional manner to customers and their representatives. OSHA certified. Current driver's license.

$25.00 - $37.00 per hour
