HVAC Mechanic/Building Engineer Providence, RI:

Dae Sung, LLC is currently seeking a full-time HVAC Mechanic/Building Engineer to provide operations and mechanical maintenance services at the J.O. Pastore Federal Building in Providence, RI. This is a full time union position.

Duties:

HVAC Responsibilities, Pursue/receive HVAC local/state journeyperson grade license. H.V.A.C Level II•$44.86•

Qualifications:

HVAC local/state journeyperson grade license. (Excess of 10 tons). One of 3 listed certifications (NATE, HVAC Excellence, UA Star), EPA Universal CFC certification, GSA approval.

Duties:

HVAC Responsibilities. HVAC Mechanic/Building Engineer must have a minimum of (5-8) years' experience in building maintenance and operation, maintaining facilities and working on large commercial heating and air conditioning equipment. HVAC Mechanic must be competent to perform operations, preventive and corrective maintenance on BAS, boilers, chillers, hot water heating systems, domestic water plumbing systems, air handlers, VAV components, and other various HVAC equipment and building systems. Candidates must also have general maintenance knowledge on how to operate and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. High School Diploma or G.E.D is required. Universal EPA or CFC certification is required. Technical training in HVAC is highly desired. HVAC journeyperson license required. Must be willing to obtain/maintain NATE Certification within 6 months of employment. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
