Journeyman HVAC Full Job Description Pay:
$38.00•$52.00per hour PLUS Prevailing Wage work at $86.05/hour
Hours:
7:30am•4:30pm Monday•
Friday On-Call Rotation Qualifications and Requirements:
Licensed
REQUIRED
Journeyman Refrigeration 1 or 2 in Rhode Island OR Master 1 or 2 Refrigeration in RI, Pipefitter licenses are acceptable 1-5 years performing service, troubleshooting, and maintenance on HVAC equipment High school diploma or equivalent; completion of technical training or certification in HVAC services preferred. Proven experience as a service or installation technician in HVAC services with a successful track record. Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, troubleshooting techniques, and repair methods. Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests on HVAC systems to accurately identify issues, malfunctions, or potential problems. Utilize advanced testing equipment and technical expertise to efficiently pinpoint complex problems. Collaborate with other departments as needed to install new equipment. Perform skilled and complex repairs or maintenance on HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Recommend appropriate solutions to optimize system performance and reliability.
