06 Apr 2026 Salary Details Competetive Salary Offered Job Description Description Responsible for the daily maintenance and repairs of all hotel heating, air conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation systems as well as all hot and cold-water systems to include but not limited to boilers, cooling tower, associated pumps and motors, refrigeration equipment, coolers and freezers. Perform Preventive Maintenance as assigned or required while keeping system downtime to a minimum. Provide our guest with first class services that promotes return visits and builds brand recognition. The HVAC Technician shall always strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests. S/he will be responsible for exemplifying the Wild Dunes Resort Culture as well as promoting Wild Dunes Resort as both the Destination and Employer of Choice! Essential jobFunctions:
Conduct daily Preventive Maintenance on all hotel heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment. Perform any necessary repairs in a timely manner. Track all associated inventory and maintain established inventory levels. Complete all required reports on equipment history to include all cost associated with any repair or PM. Conduct all equipment walk-throughs, reading and logs as requested by Engineering management. These must be kept in an organized location as designated by engineering management. Assist with the development and implementation of a Refrigeration Usage, Log and keep it current. Monitor and review all scheduled events and schedule all air handlers through the Energy Management System (EMS) to start as least 30 minutes before each event. Review all air conditioners on EMS several times throughout each shift as to the correct operating parameters. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of assigned shops, mechanical areas, tool carts and tools. Always maintain all equipment in first class condition. Replace all screws and fasteners as they were when the equipment was new. Always work in a safe and orderly manner. Track all associated inventory and maintain established inventory level. Always clean up after each task; never leave a mess for Housekeeping to clean up. Report any unsafe condition to your manager immediately Support and ensure compliance with all Policies and Procedures as designated by Wild Dunes Resort. Support and ensure compliance of all local, state and federal regulations. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required. Why Join Wild Dunes Resort? At least 2 years as a HVAC technician in the hospitality or service industry. At least 2 years relevant work experience with refrigeration Must be EPA certified with at least Type II or better High School graduate or Technical/Trade School preferredJob Requirements:
Must be authorized to work in the United States Must have valid Driver's license and meet resort driving standards Must understand the usage of hand tools and some power tools. Must be able to stand on feet throughout the shift, with intermittent periods of walking; Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push & pull up to 50 lbs with assistance; Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally. Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis; While primarily an indoor job, must be able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, heat); Must be able to climb stairs occasionally, both indoors and outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, heat).
