We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems and components, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The HVAC Installer will ensure that all installations meet industry standards and provide optimal performance for our clients. Duties Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, and refrigeration systems according to manufacturer specifications and local codes. Conduct routine maintenance checks on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation and compliance with safety regulations. Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning HVAC equipment using diagnostic tools and techniques. Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and installation requirements. Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management. Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition and report any issues to management. Skills Proficient in ammonia refrigeration systems and appliance repair techniques. Familiarity with using an ohmmeter for electrical testing and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of HVAC principles, including refrigerant handling and system mechanics. Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively for installation planning. Experience in property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems is a plus. Capable of performing plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations when necessary. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to build or modify existing systems as needed. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in HVAC installation is preferred. Several years of experience in HVAC installation, with a proven track record of successful project management. Relevant licenses or certifications, such as EPA 608 certification for handling refrigerants. Strong communication and leadership skills. In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and installation techniques. Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job.
