Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and system reliability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and field service experience in a fast-paced environment dedicated to property maintenance and technical excellence. Responsibilities Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan. Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems using tools such as ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other diagnostic devices. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including refrigerant charging and ammonia refrigeration handling where applicable. Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, and parts used for each job. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes while providing exceptional field service to clients. Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with a strong background in construction or property maintenance. Knowledge of HVAC design principles, schematics reading, and mechanical systems troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems, appliance repair, boiler operation, and ammonia refrigeration is highly desirable. Mechanical aptitude with proficiency in equipment repair, welding techniques, and plumbing tasks related to HVAC/R systems. Familiarity with the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and field testing instruments. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating a driver vehicle is preferred. Certifications in HVAC/R technology or relevant trade licenses are advantageous; ongoing training is encouraged to stay current with industry standards.
