In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor air quality and climate control, contributing to the comfort and safety of our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge HVAC technology while developing your mechanical and technical skills in a fast-paced environment. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will drive success in delivering high-quality service. Responsibilities Install new HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, boilers, and refrigeration equipment, following schematics and HVAC design plans. Conduct system diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and other testing devices to identify issues accurately. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC equipment, refrigeration units, plumbing connections, and appliances. Interpret technical schematics, mechanical drawings, and system layouts to ensure precise installation and servicing. Utilize welding and mechanical knowledge for equipment repair or modification when necessary. Maintain property by ensuring all HVAC components operate efficiently; perform field service tasks including component replacement and system upgrades. Adhere to safety protocols related to ammonia refrigeration, electrical systems, welding procedures, and property maintenance standards. Communicate effectively with clients regarding system operation, maintenance procedures, and repair timelines. Keep detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance reports. Experience Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC installation or maintenance roles. Strong background in construction practices related to HVAC system installation. Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, refrigeration systems (including ammonia refrigeration), and plumbing is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge encompassing boiler operation, appliance repair, welding techniques, and property maintenance is preferred. Experience working with field service environments requiring property upkeep or equipment repair on-site. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers or similar vehicles is advantageous. Knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems combined with proficiency using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters or multimeters. Prior experience working with mechanical systems like boilers or ammonia refrigeration units will set you apart.
