HVAC Systems Technician

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various maintenance tasks, demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer service. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal functionality. Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues using tools such as an ohmmeter and other diagnostic equipment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Execute residential painting tasks as needed, ensuring high-quality finishes. Collaborate with team members to lead maintenance projects, providing guidance and support. Read and interpret schematics to assist in repairs and installations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally. Assist in welding tasks as required for repairs or modifications. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively. Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities. Experience with residential painting techniques is a plus. Ability to read schematics and perform basic welding tasks is advantageous. Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
