This hands-on position involves daily preventative maintenance and repair of building systems, equipment, and utilities. You'll work in a clean, organized, and safety-focused environment where no two days are the same — from changing air filters and troubleshooting HVAC issues to supporting contractors on facility projects. What You Need High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or related technical training preferred Prior experience or knowledge in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems Familiarity with HVAC systems and preventative maintenance practices Ability to safely operate power and hand tools, forklifts, and manlifts Proficient with basic computer skills for documenting work orders and inspections Comfortable working independently or in team environments Willingness to work at heights and follow safety protocols Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed What You Will Do Perform routine preventative maintenance on non-production systems including HVAC and general facility systems Maintain and repair plant utilities, lighting, plumbing, breakrooms, restrooms, and grounds Assist contractors with building and repair projects Conduct regular facility inspections and document corrective actions Support maintenance projects and collaborate with other departments as needed Keep work areas organized and aligned with 5S standards Interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for troubleshooting and repairs Complete additional tasks as assigned by management #INDPRO
