HVAC Service Professional

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC Service Professional to join our team and deliver exceptional heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical services. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of HVAC systems and related equipment across various property types. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on HVAC systems including air conditioning units, heat pump systems, gas furnaces and duct systems. Read and interpret schematics, HVAC design plans, mechanical diagrams, and electrical wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose issues. Conduct field service operations involving equipment repair, ohmmeter testing, and mechanical adjustments to ensure systems operate efficiently. Install new HVAC equipment and components following safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and documentation of repairs performed for each client site. Operate a vehicle safely to travel between job sites efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws. Qualifications 1 to 5 years experience as a service/maintenance technician in HVAC/R or related mechanical fields with strong knowledge of HVAC systems and refrigeration technology. Familiarity with construction processes, schematics interpretation, HVAC design principles, and property maintenance practices. Hands-on experience with equipment repair including refrigeration systems and mechanical troubleshooting. Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics accurately; experience with ohmmeters or similar testing tools is essential. Mechanical knowledge of air conditioning units, heating systems, and associated components. Field service experience demonstrating the ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions efficiently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; willingness to operate company vehicles safely across multiple job sites. Additional skills such as welding certification, familiarity with HVAC/R standards including refrigerant handling regulations, or boiler operation are highly desirable. $17.00 - $31.00 per hour
