Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC Service and Install Technician to join our team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and related mechanical systems across various properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and plumbing components with precision and attention to detail Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately execute installations and repairs Conduct field service visits to diagnose issues using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment, ensuring efficient resolution of mechanical problems Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning/refrigeration) systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform welding, equipment repair, and system upgrades that meet safety standards and operational requirements Maintain detailed service records, inspection reports, and logs of all work performed for accountability and future reference Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC, refrigeration, or property maintenance roles with a strong understanding of HVAC design principles Construction background or experience working with schematics for complex system installations Skilled in reading technical diagrams and schematics; familiarity with HVAC/R controls and electrical systems Experience with field service tasks such as troubleshooting using ohmmeters or performing welding repairs on-site Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a driver vehicle safely Knowledge of mechanical tools including welding equipment, ohmmeters, and maintenance tools; ability to perform equipment repair efficiently Ability to work independently in the field while adhering to safety protocols; excellent problem-solving skills Join us in delivering exceptional HVAC solutions that keep our clients comfortable year-round!
