Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional service in maintaining, repairing, and installing HVAC systems across various properties. As an HVAC Technician, you will be instrumental in providing reliable solutions that enhance property value and occupant satisfaction. Duties Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to diagnose issues accurately and execute repairs efficiently. Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems to identify potential problems early and prevent system failures. Utilize specialized tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for component repairs or modifications. Troubleshoot plumbing connections related to HVAC systems and perform appliance repair when necessary. Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and system logs to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. Assist with property maintenance tasks involving HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems, ammonia refrigeration units, and field service operations. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in construction environments or property maintenance settings. Proven service technician experience with a focus on HVAC system troubleshooting and repair. Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and HVAC design documents accurately. Familiarity with refrigeration systems—including ammonia refrigeration—and HVAC/R technology. Experience with plumbing installations and repairs related to heating or cooling systems. Knowledge of appliance repair techniques applicable to HVAC equipment components. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred for transporting equipment or parts. Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs or modifications. Mechanical aptitude combined with field service experience across diverse environments. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in high-pressure situations while maintaining safety standards.
