Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot a wide range of HVAC systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration, boilers, and ammonia refrigeration units. Perform comprehensive equipment repairs, installations, and routine maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to execute precise service procedures. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair electrical components and mechanical parts effectively. Conduct property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems, plumbing, appliance repair, and general mechanical upkeep. Lead field service operations by coordinating with clients on service needs, scheduling appointments, and ensuring timely project completion. Maintain detailed documentation of service activities, including inspection reports, repair logs, and schematic updates. Skills Extensive experience in construction environments with a focus on HVAC system installation and maintenance. Proven service technician background with hands-on expertise in HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, plumbing, and appliance repair. Strong understanding of schematics, HVAC design principles, and mechanical knowledge essential for complex troubleshooting. Ability to operate specialized tools such as ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other diagnostic devices accurately. Familiarity with property maintenance procedures related to air conditioning units, boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, and general mechanical systems. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred for safe transportation between job sites.
