HVAC Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Conduct equipment repairs on residential air conditioning units and gas furnaces. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to troubleshoot complex systems effectively. Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and logs of all maintenance activities for compliance and future reference. Qualifications Entry level position with some HVAC experience. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC/R (refrigeration/heating/air conditioning) systems. Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design principles. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as multi-meters and other electrical testing equipment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license. Knowledge of safety standards related to field service work including proper handling of refrigerants. Problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments. Pay:

$21.00 - $28.00 per hour
