Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician and become a vital part of ensuring comfortable, safe, and efficient environments across various properties. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and ventilation equipment. Your mechanical expertise and field service experience will drive your success as you deliver top-tier service to clients and uphold industry standards. Duties Perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), and ventilation equipment. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation; identify potential problems before they escalate. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair electrical components and mechanical parts effectively. Maintain detailed service records, work logs, and reports for all field activities; ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Assist with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems and property maintenance projects as needed. Operate company vehicles safely while transporting tools and equipment to various job sites; adhere to all driving safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems; construction or property maintenance background is highly valued. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, boiler operation, and appliance servicing. Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and HVAC design plans with confidence. Familiarity with refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration technology; experience with HVAC/R certifications is preferred. Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC installations and repairs. Demonstrated ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; skilled in using various hand tools for equipment repair. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating driver vehicles is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
