The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC/R systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction. Duties Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems in residential and commercial settings. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating, cooling, and refrigeration units. Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and components. Perform welding tasks as needed for repairs or installations. Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure systems operate efficiently. Handle ammonia refrigeration systems safely and effectively. Provide field service support, including responding to service calls in a timely manner. Collaborate with other technicians and staff to complete projects on schedule. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge related to HVAC/R systems. Experience with plumbing tasks is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints. Proficiency in welding techniques relevant to HVAC applications. Experience working with ammonia refrigeration is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; van driving experience is an advantage. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
