Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and system reliability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and field service experience in a fast-paced environment dedicated to property maintenance and appliance repair, pay based on experience. Duties Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and ventilation equipment. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan. Troubleshoot electrical components using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters; repair or replace faulty parts as needed. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including refrigerant line repairs. Braze or perform mechanical repairs on equipment using appropriate tools; ensure all repairs meet safety standards. Maintain detailed service records, complete incident reports, and document all work performed for accountability and future reference. Operate a company vehicle safely while adhering to all traffic laws; maintain cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle. Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems to ensure continuous operation in commercial or residential settings. Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems and mechanical design considerations. Experience Proven experience as an HVAC service technician with a strong background in construction or property maintenance environments. Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, plumbing repair. Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design principles for accurate troubleshooting and installation. Mechanical knowledge of braze techniques, equipment repair, and maintenance procedures. Field service experience working directly on HVAC units in various settings; ability to adapt quickly to different environments. Knowledge of safety protocols related to refrigerants is essential. Proficiency with testing tools such as ohmmeters; ability to interpret electrical readings accurately. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating a vehicle required.
