We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician to join our growing team. Pay & Benefits $30.00-$40.00 per hour, based on experience Overtime opportunities available Medical, Dental, Vision & Prescription Drug Insurance 401(k) with 3% Company Match Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays Company Service Truck Company Phone Uniform Allowance (including work boots) Tool Loan Program Ongoing Training and Industry Certification Opportunities Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Health Savings Account (HSA) Life Insurance Parental Leave Fuel Card Job Responsibilities Perform commercial HVAC/R service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs Diagnose equipment issues and recommend repair or replacement solutions Install, repair, maintain, and upgrade HVAC systems and related equipment Service commercial HVAC equipment ranging from 1-50 tons Work on commercial refrigeration systems, gas and oil-fired boilers, electrical systems, and digital controls Communicate professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships Follow service standards, safety procedures, and supervisor instructions Accurately complete work orders and service documentation using mobile and web-based applications Required Experience Minimum of 3 years of commercial HVAC service experience Graduate of an accredited HVAC technical school or training program Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and control systems Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and time-management skills Ability to safely operate a service vehicle and maneuver in tight spaces Willingness to learn and work on a variety of HVAC and refrigeration systems Licenses & Certifications Valid Driver's License EPA Certification OSHA Certification Additional Expectations Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle Keep work areas clean and professional Provide personal hand tools, gauges, and meters Maintain a professional appearance and customer-focused attitude Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality Be available for overtime, on-call rotations, weekends, and holiday coverage as needed Follow all company policies, safety standards, and core values Physical Requirements Ability to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold Ability to walk, bend, squat, kneel, crawl, and climb ladders Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday Schedule Full-time Monday to Friday Day Shift 8-Hour Shift Overtime Available On-Call Rotation Required Benefits 401(k) 401(k) 3% Match Company Truck Dental Insurance Employee Assistance Program Flexible Spending Account Fuel Card Health Insurance Health Savings Account Life Insurance Paid Time Off Parental Leave Vision Insurance Join Total Comfort Group and become part of a team that values safety, technical excellence, customer satisfaction, and career growth.
