Senior Commercial HVAC Lead Installer (5+ years HVAC experience required)

We are looking for a Senior Commercial HVAC Lead Installer who can confidently handle commercial HVAC installations from start to finish. This position is for someone experienced, dependable, and capable of working on commercial job sites with little supervision. The ideal candidate should be able to read plans, understand the scope of work, lay out and install ductwork, set equipment, complete split system changeouts, and help lead the job in the field. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up on time, keeps a clean job site, and knows how to get the job done correctly. Responsibilities Read and understand HVAC plans, blueprints, and jobsite drawings Install commercial HVAC systems according to plans and specifications Run spiral pipe, square duct, flex duct, grilles, registers, dampers, and related materials Perform split system changeouts Set roof curbs and assist with rooftop unit installations Spot curb locations and roof openings based on plans Cut roof openings when needed Braze copper line sets Run refrigeration piping and condensate drains Run low-voltage wiring when needed, preferred but not required Install hangers, supports, straps, and other required hardware Coordinate with helpers, installers, and jobsite personnel Follow instructions from management, project managers, superintendents, and general contractors Make sure work is completed safely, correctly, and efficiently Maintain a clean and organized work area Keep job sites clean and professional Communicate material needs, jobsite issues, and progress updates Take ownership of assigned jobs and tasks Represent the company professionally on job sites Requirements Strong commercial HVAC installation experience Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision Must be able to read plans and blueprints proficiently Must know how to complete commercial HVAC installs from start to finish Must be able to run spiral pipe and square duct Must be able to perform split system changeouts Must be able to braze copper Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites Must own basic HVAC hand tools Must be dependable, punctual, and professional Must be good at following instructions Must be able to communicate clearly with the office and field team Must be able to keep a clean work station and clean job site Must be comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and rooftops Must be able to lift, carry, and move HVAC materials and equipment Must be able to work in commercial construction environments Preferred Qualifications Experience leading helpers or small crews Experience setting roof curbs and rooftop units Experience coordinating with general contractors and superintendents OSHA certification is a plus Sheet metal experience is a plus Service or startup experience is a plus, but not required Tools and Transportation Applicants must have their own basic hand tools required for commercial HVAC installation. Applicants must also have reliable transportation to get to and from job sites. A company work van may be provided after the employee has been with us for a period of time and has shown strong reliability, performance, and responsibility. Pay This position pays $28 to $38 per hour, depending on experience, skill level, and ability to work independently. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who can walk onto a commercial job site, understand the plans, know what needs to be done, and complete the job properly without needing constant supervision. We are looking for someone who is reliable, organized, skilled, and able to take ownership of the work.
