America is looking to fill a position for HVAC Technician, starting ASAP. Job Summary The typical schedule for this position will be 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Very occasional work outside of this schedule, including weekends, may be required for emergencies or special projects. The main duties/responsibilities of this position would be HVAC repair and maintenance. Responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following: Diagnosis, repair, replacement and maintenance of AC units currently on MCC. Communicate with the team, set expectations, and deliver quality service. Test HVAC systems and diagnose installation problems to ensure they are performing at specifications. Interpret instructions, designs, and schematics. Install heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment to required standards. Assemble and connect equipment, thermostats, timers, and other accessories. Assist Maintenance Team with general maintenance around the plant as required Requirements 7+ years experience preferred Previous experience working on HVAC in industrial/manufacturing/plant environment highly preferred EPA Type II (Required) HVAC Certification, Air Conditioning Installation Certification, Trane Certification and/or Journeyman HVAC a plus High School Diploma or GED required Valid Driver's license required
