Industrial HVAC Technician Hunton Group - 2.9 Houston, TX Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Customer communication High school diploma or GED Driver's License EPA Universal Certification Full Job Description Hunton Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial HVAC Technician to join our team, servicing customers in and around the Greater Houston, TX area to include Brazoria County (Angleton, Clute, Freeport, Lake Jackson). This role is ideal for a technician who has hands-on expertise with package units, split systems, wall-mount units, and mini-splits. You'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial and industrial A/C systems while building trust through professional communication and safe, high-quality work. What You'll Do Perform preventive maintenance services, including coil cleaning, belt and filter changes, system logging, and inspection activities on industrial A/C equipment. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve system issues related to mechanical failure, airflow problems, and refrigeration cycle malfunctions. Repair and replace motors, compressors, bearings, and perform full system change-outs when necessary. Start up and shut down HVAC systems according to customer schedules and job requirements. Deliver accurate documentation, daily service logs, and written reports to both internal teams and customers. Maintain strong customer relationships through clear, professional communication and reliable service delivery. Work with a safety-first mindset and adhere to job site protocols and compliance standards. What You'll Bring Solid experience servicing a wide range of industrial HVAC equipment, including Trane and other OEM systems. Strong understanding of airside systems, refrigeration cycles, and HVAC electrical components. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Professional demeanor with the ability to manage customer interactions and resolve issues proactively. Flexibility to work overtime and travel between customer sites as needed. Familiarity with pressurization systems is a plus. Technical certifications or OEM factory training are preferred. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 5 years' experience servicing Trane or comparable industrial HVAC systems. Universal EPA refrigerant certification. Must possess a valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record (no violations in the past 3 years). Must be able to obtain a TWIC card.
